    Bring 'Em Home Now Concert

    On March 20th we attended the Bring 'Em Home Now Concert here in NYC. The event was a benefit the for the Iraq Veterans Against the War and Veterans for Peace and featured performances by Michael Stipe, Fischerspooner, Rufus Wainwright, Moby, Steve Earle, Bright Eyes, Devandra Banhart and Peaches as well as interesting and informative speeches from Cindy Sheehan and U.S. Army Veteran Geoffrey Millard. Guest hosts for the evening also included Chuck D., Susan Sarandon and Alec Baldwin. It was an exciting event and we've added some photos we took that night below.
     
    In other Sundance Channel and Michael Stipe news - we will be airing the short film documentary "In the Sun: Michael Stipe and Special Guests" on Monday April 3rd at 9pm e/p.     End this illegal war now. More soldiers die each day and Bush never admits defeat.Bush does not listen or reads the newspapers to view how many American feel about this war.We need to unite and demonstrate more on the streets like the immigrants did on May first. The cost of this war is immensaly and we are loosing. I say, impeach Bush and everyone in the White House now.

    I am very pleased to see that musical artists as well as entertainers are expressing thier oppinions and support through thier art.  Wether one is for the war or against it is thier opinion which should be respected. Never the less I know that the troops out there in foreighn countries preforming service have respect for any artist who shares thier opinions, comments, and concerns. The right to agree or disagree and to debate facts and fictions is the American way and we as Americans should never forget that everyone is entitled to free thought and the persuit of happiness...as long as that persuit is legal according to the law of the people. Thank you.
